The heading has changed. This is a frames page. There are links to all types of information and samples. In the Tutorial links section you will leave this site to explore and broaden your knowledge. The header may remain to help you find your way back. However, the page that has focus controls the screen. At any time code executing on the page can eliminate the header. This may be for their own page navigation purposes or intentional.

The above menu bar can work with frames. However, it requires Javascript in the frame that is being displayed. Many pages in these samples do not contain this Javascript. Therefore the menu bar won't work. The above menu bar is just buttons. The menu bar below works.

Web Page Slideshow ~ Samples
This is an old slideshow. It uses Java Applets which are no longer recommended. It does use a Javascript image preload function which loads the images for the next slide while you are watching the current slide. The result is very fast page loading.

Optional Feature Samples

Roster Sample
This was created with the Roster optional feature. It is a member roster of the "Northern California Drywall Contractors Association." NCDCA

There are two pages for their roster. The first page is a roster listing. At the top is a link called " Map of Members in North and Central California." If you click it you will go to a map with all the members on it. If you click a circle you will go to their roster listing. You can also go to MapQuest for the location.

The members and contacts sections are created using templates. You can select from several different templates which contain additional information. These templates are HTML files. Because they are templates you can create several different roster listings. There is also a section for creating the different text fonts to be used in the roster.

There is a selection criteria area that allows you to select different members for the roster depending on their activity and your selection.

Themes Samples
These themes are just samples. They are some of the standard themes supplied with FrontPage. To create a custom theme you need a Cascading Style Sheet (to set the text), a header (banner), A line, at least 4 sets of navigation buttons and an optional background.
